ABOUT

For those who love to cook and those who don’t, this is the blog for you.

However, We have not always enjoyed cooking. It’s true that cooking dinner during my adolescence consisted of either microwaved frozen meals or adding boiling water to something from a box. We started eating real food after we got married because my husband cooks. I joined him in the kitchen and discovered that cooking could be fun. I’ve been cooking ever since. It was a lot of fun to eat real food. As well as gaining self-confidence as a cook at home, right? That was a life-altering experience.

No matter whether you’re a seasoned chef or just getting started, here are five reasons why I think you’ll enjoy my blog.

  1. Great recipes: Thank you for sharing them with us. Obviously, since this is a food blog, there are going to be recipes here. However, I only share recipes that I truly enjoy. You won’t find anything here that I haven’t made before or that I won’t make again in the future. This site only contains recipes that I would eat or serve to my friends.
  2. Step-by-step instructions with photos: Cooking was a new experience for me, and I was unsure of so many things. When chopping the vegetables, how thick should the slices be? It’s halfway through the recipe and it looks nothing like the final photo. What should this look like? When I started this blog, I wanted to remove some of that uncertainty by including tonnes of photos to bring each step of the recipe to life.
  3. Helpful tips and techniques: We are always interested in learning new skills that will help me get the job done faster, easier, or better. It was for this reason that I decided to create a page dedicated solely to useful tips and techniques.
  4. Bloopers: Cooking doesn’t always go according to plan, let’s face it. Keep your head up and don’t let this discourage you. You can learn from my mistakes and laugh with me. You can salvage what you can, throw away the rest, and try again next time.
  5. Fun: All things food-related should be fun, including eating, cooking, and making a mess out of them.
